Unbecoming

His black windbreaker pants swoosh atop pencil legs, as he scurries to the cafeteria; another lonely meal. His yellow shirt barely fits, serving as yet another layer of skin, only, not ridden with acne. A mighty backpack hinders his growth, home to a plethora of computer-related textbooks. What a mustache; curled at the sides, harboring ridicule. Glasses, thick as ice, as he struggles to keep them positioned. Superior to his brittle base, rest long, thin hairs; unkempt. Why would he behave as such, embodying classic stereotypes; nerd and geek? Understand fellow scientist, this is unbecoming of who we are; feeding the communal cliché. Take pride in your clothing. Take pride in your appearance. But more importantly, take pride in what you are, an intellectual; a computer scientist.
